A puffin glides over the floating ice, in the high arctic archipelago of Svalbard. Puffins can fly as fast as 90 km/h and beat their wings more than 400 times per minute. Except during the breeding season, from late April to mid August, large groups of puffins form "rafts" and float on the Atlantic Ocean, between the east coast of Canada to the north western coast of Europe.
