A Cape Petrel (Daption capense) flying close to the water surface, Kaikoura, New Zealand. Cape Petrels - also known as Cape Pigeons - breed on sub-Antactic islands, on those surrounding around the coast of Antarctica and can live for up to 20 years. Cape Petrels are very aggressive towards their own species and others.
